America’s economy has received a shot in the arm with the discovery of shale oil and gas reserves across the country. This has lowered energy prices and industrial costs, creating a manufacturing boom and economic lift. But export opportunities for liquefied natural gas could be lost to countries which have no existing free-trade agreements with the United States.
