Bilateral disputes between Albania and Greece threaten regional security

Historic enmity between Albanians and Greeks and a number of major bilateral issues have fractured diplomatic relations between the two Nato neighbours which are still technically at war. The disputes could lead to Greece using its veto in the European Union to block Albania’s negotiations to join. They also threaten regional geopolitics.
