Carlota Ahrens Teixeira is a geopolitical and foreign policy analyst who specialises in African affairs.
She is an international relations consultant at Gaporsul Ltd, a business and political intelligence advisory company. She also collaborates with Kyron Consultants to provide business intelligence and analytics to top executives of Portuguese corporations operating in Africa, and intercultural training meetings for companies with operations in Angola and Mozambique.
Her experience with African affairs also includes work with the Luso-African Cultural Foundation (FLAC), especially geared towards cooperation between Portugal and African countries.
She also worked, as an intern, in the National Ministry of Defence in the Portuguese Navy at the Strategic and Planning Division.
Carlota holds a Masters of Science in Governance, Leadership and Democracy Studies, from the Institute for Political Studies of the Portuguese Catholic University. She is currently working on her final thesis in the field of Geopolitics, Strategy and Foreign Policy.
She also holds an International Relations degree and a Specialisation in Security and Intelligence from the School of Social and Political Sciences at the Technical University of Lisbon.
