New trends in cyber attacks are emerging which threaten to provoke unprecedented crises to a country’s economy, safety, health, sanitation and civil peace. The cyber threats are being launched increasingly by organised cyber criminals who are using technology for activities ranging from theft and espionage to blackmailing individuals, companies and governments.
