Béatrice Acklin Zimmermann is managing director of the think tank Liberethica, the ethical offensive for freedom and the market economy.
Ms. Acklin Zimmermann studied Protestant and Catholic theology and political science in Zurich, Rome, and Fribourg, earned a doctorate in medieval philosophy, and completed a post-doctoral qualification with a thesis on the question of anti-Judaism in Martin Luther.
She was a member of the Fribourg parliament for many years. As a regular guest author with the Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ) and a columnist in various magazines and newspapers, she writes in particular on the interaction between religion and politics and on issues of business ethics.
