Japan's car industry has emerged better and stronger after a torrid period which saw its image battered and supply chains broken. Now it is forging new global alliances with Europe's quality car makers using its expertise in eco-friendly technology to build winning partnerships.

JAPAN’S car industry is bouncing back thanks to the trend for eco-friendly automotive technology.

Car manufacturers and suppliers in Japan have regained their strength and confidence following the problems of 2009 - the hardest year in the history of many suppliers when only the Chinese market showed growth.
