Japan's Fukushima disaster has acted like a catalyst to accelerate the country's solar energy market. There is great potential for foreign investors as Professor Dr Stefan Lippert explains in this briefing.

JAPAN is the world’s third largest solar energy market and its strong growth has been boosted by the energy crisis which followed the tsnunami, earthquake and nuclear disaster at Fukushima in March.


The focus of the global solar energy market on both the supply and demand side will shift to Asia as a result of this disaster.
