Falkland Islands tensions rise with Argentina as anniversary nears

Tensions between Britain and Argentina are rising as the 30th anniversary of the Falklands war, which killed almost 1,000 servicemen, gets closer. A British warship is being sent to the islands, known to Argentina as Las Malivnas, and which it claims as its territory while Falklands ships are banned from Latin American ports and flights to the island could be stopped.

A DIPLOMATIC row is brewing and tensions are running high between Argentina and the United Kingdom as the 30th anniversary of the Falklands war approaches.
