She was President of the Brazilian Association of Water Resources and director of the International Water Resources Association. Her experience is in water quality and integrated water resources management. Fluent in English and well known internationally among the World Bank and Inter-American Development Bank. She is the deputy to Benedito Braga, current Secretary for Water Resources in the State of Sao Paulo.
